The Liebherr Group increased its turnover in the 2005 business year by 715.0 million € to 5,305.0 million €, thus exceeding the previous year’s turnover by 15.6 %. Pleasing growth rates were achieved in all product divisions and also in all sales regions.
The Liebherr Group began the new business year with more orders in hand than at any previous time in its history. In the first few months of 2006 turnover increased by 534 million € or 22.2 % to 2,937 million € compared with the same period of the previous year. For the complete business year, the Group is once again expecting a two-figure percentage increase in turnover. This will be linked to a positive earnings trend. Number of employees will further increase as well.
