New center for mobile cranes in Houston (USA) inaugurated

Earlier this year Liebherr opened a new facility for sales, service and repair of new and used mobile, crawler and maritime cranes in Houston, Texas.
With "Open House"-celebrations on November 11 and 12, Liebherr presented the new crane center to the public.
The new facility includes a three-story office building with more than 15,000 sq. ft. and a 36,500 sq. ft. service building on a 13-acre site. The repair and service operations are contained in a 330-foot long, 110-foot wide, and 50-foot high service building. The repair operations are efficiently conducted with the two 25-ton overhead cranes spanning over the six assembly areas for cranes of various sizes. The new subsidiary in Houston is a major strategic step for Liebherr Cranes, Inc. in its sales and customer support plan in the US, for sales of mobile, crawler and maritime cranes manufactured by Liebherr-Werk Ehingen GmbH and Liebherr-Werk Nenzing GmbH |
