Liebherr Reachstacker LRS 645 initiates new maritime product line

To extend the successful product line of maritime products for material handling, Liebherr has now introduced the reachstacker type LRS 645. This powerful machine for container handling offers so far unseen handling possibilities and other unique features. With this launch of an additional product line next to the existing ranges of harbour mobile cranes, ship cranes, FCCs and TCCs (fixed and travelling cargo cranes), offshore cranes, RTGs, RMGs and ship-to-shore cranes, Liebherr will strengthen its reputation as a leading provider of maritime competence.
The Liebherr reachstacker LRS 645 is designed to lift containers as heavy as 45 metric tons into heights up to stacks of six containers in the first row. Its unique design of a curve-shaped, telescopic boom provides extra space for stacking. Thus, in 4-high by 3-wide block stacks the LRS 645 can remove the top container in the second row without first removing the top one in the first row. In 3-high by 3-wide block stacks, even the top tie in the third row can be removed without moving the top tiers in the first and second rows. |
