Water treatment plant for residual concrete recycling.
Residual concrete recycling plant has gained much ground in recent years as an environmentally acceptable measure. The sand and gravel are washed out of the concrete, but in particular circumstances it may not be possible to return the water containing cement to the concrete production cycle. This is true for example in the case of concrete pump supply services, since they do not produce any concrete, and also at concrete product plants that can only use clean water in their high-quality concrete mixing plant, since the products are usually coloured. The Liebherr LWA water treatment plant solves this problem. The incoming material is separated into clear, re-usable water and sedimented sludge. Liebherr water treatment plant is rated for a throughput of 2 to 5 cu. m/h at a silo volume of 10 cubic metres.

The basic function separates ultra-fine particles and those in suspension mechanically, using a polymer-based flocculating agent. During sedimentation the sludge collects in the conical lower section of the clarifying tower and is pumped away. Clean water is discharged from the upper part of the tower and can be re-used for various purposes. The Liebherr LWA water treatment plant is a pro-environmental system that saves large amounts of water.
