20,000th crane from Liebherr-Werk Ehingen GmbH

In December 2006, the 20,000th crane to have been manufactured at Liebherr’s Ehingen factory, an LTM 1100-5.2, was delivered to Doron Livnat, the managing director of the Dutch company, Hovago Cranes B.V. Based in Spijkenisse near Rotterdam, Hovago is one of the leading companies in the international crane and lifting industry.
The mobile and crawler cranes developed and manufactured by Liebherr-Werk Ehingen GmbH enjoy an excellent reputation on the international markets and have made Liebherr the market leaders in this product area.
The product spectrum at Liebherr-Werk Ehingen GmbH currently comprises a large range of all-terrain cranes from the LTM series with load capacities of up to 1,000 t, crawler cranes with load capacities reaching 1,350 t and lattice boom mobile cranes that can lift up to 750 t. The spectrum also covers truck-mounted telescopic cranes, the LTC 1055-3.1 compact crane, a 100-t telescopic crawler crane and mobile construction cranes which combine the mobility of a mobile crane with the functional advantages of a tower crane. |
